Moving is crazy. especially when you are combining two apartments into one. ¬†I’m pretty lucky though, Josh doesn’t really have a clue about design and decorating a space. ¬†Which gives me a bit of free range to play. ¬†I have some inspiration pics for the living room as a jumping off point…. ¬†They all are a bit different… So, I won’t exactly know what direction I am going in until we have moved.
So the picture above I am REALLY loving.  Josh liked it too (minus the mongolian fur benches!).   I love the lay out of the furniture, the sisal rug layered with the raw hide, and the muted clean colors.
Now, my other two inspiration pics are brighter and much more eclectic….
The above room is another fave, designed by Amber of Amber Interiors – especially since I totally digging hot pink. ¬†Especially that hot pink and navy combo. ¬†Those curtains are pretty bomb too. ¬† I love the layering of the pillows, and again the layering of sisal with the kilim on top. ¬†This boho-vibed room is easier for me to achieve I think…
So the above space is another more boho-glammed out space by Molly Luetkemeyer (another favorite designer of mine)…. which is more the look I am use to. ¬†It’s easier to mix and match… It’s all based on what you love, which makes it more free flow.
Now… how to combine these three looks together!?! ¬†Keep ya posted!
