I have been a fan of graffiti art for quite some time. Shepard Fairey, Banksy, Space Invader to name a few… I really appreciate the self expression and the “no-holding-back” esthetic that come s with street art.
Roger Gastman is an artist that has been on the scene for quite some time – and has curated a new exhibit at the MOCA in Los Angeles “Art in the Streets.” So, recently the LA Times featured his Los Feliz, CA home and I had to share it with you if you hadn’t seen it yet. What I appreciate most about his home is that every piece is genius, and true to Gastman and what his personal taste is. Everything in his home suits his taste perfectly and mixes and matches all different elements that he likes. Designing for him self! The glittered zebras, the gun lamp, pieces from Jonathan Adler. I love seeing homes that truly speak about what the home owner really loves.
This is the perfect example!!

The home office with a great gallery art wall. Really amazing inspiration for the office.
Amazing artwork really liven up this tablescape.
This floor lamp was designed by Phillipe Stark for Flo Gun. Quite tongue-in-cheek!
